Ménage at the Wingate by Wyndham is playfully symbolic. Some of the symbolism is fairly traditional: the plumage to represent the male, the round mirror to represent the mirrored nature of an interaction between two women. But below the surface lies comical, passionate, and sometimes unsettling imagery.
